Academic:

Two (2) year A. S. (science) degree OR High School diploma/GED with minimum two years of lab experience.  Reading, writing, math skills required.  Must be able to pass the Basic Office Skills, Microsoft Excel and Word tests.

Experience:

Must possess good communication skills and the ability to work as a team member with co-workers and other plant personnel.  Must be willing to participate in team mechanics and be accountable for the responsibility of the team.  Must be flexible and able to prioritize job responsibilities.  Must be able to lift 40 pounds occasionally.  Must be able to pull samples from production lines which involves walking, reaching, stretching, lifting, bending and stooping.   Must be able to flavor several juice samples per hour.  Must be able to accurately distinguish color variations in juice samples.

Qualifications:

Assist in all areas of Q.A.team responsibilities.  Move Q.A, retain samples and maintain sample retain areas.  Perform routine Q.A. analyses: fill weights, Howard mold, foreign materials determinations, calcium determinations, Scott oil,Brix, acid, ratio, vitamin C and others.  Perform product grading/scoring and check-loading in accordance with USDA program standards.

Compensation: $17.39-19.31 per hour
