High school diploma or GED required. Must be able to read, write and speak English and perform basic math. Must be able to read, interpret and follow written instructions, including operator instructions, safety information, SOPs and SSOPs. Must be able to pass the Basic Skills Assessment for this position. MSSC, CQIA or Lean Bronze certifications preferred. Must pass the Mechanical Aptitude test with a minimum score of 70%.
This is a mid-level machine operator position with an emphasis placed on attitude, skills and aptitude. Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Must be able to work as a member of a team and be willing to cross train in other areas of the department. Must also have the aptitude and ability to cross train as back up for the Foreman.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs., communicate effectively and work as a team member. Must be able to learn to operate all equipment on Lines 10 and 21 efficiently. Record and document downtime and maintain operator logs. Assist in evaluating issues preventing the lines from running at target efficiencies. Must be physically able to move safely and quickly in reaction to line issues.
Relieve all equipment operators on Lines 10 and 21, give breaks and provide coverage during operator absences. Maintain accurate start up, clean up and shutdown checklists. Maintain accurate downtime logs as well as code verification documents. Maintain professional communication with blending lab and line personnel. Operate and perform size changeovers for depalletizer, filler/capper system and labelers. Maintain clean up organized area while following GMPs. Maintain accurate RFX issuing of materials. Follow all hot pack filling and packing procedures. Perform size changes as needed on equipment. Perform minor mechanical adjustments as needed to maintain efficiency. Regular attendance required. Must interact cordially with co-workers.

|Compensation:||$15.50 - $17.22 per hour|
