Requires High School Diploma or GED. Must have the ability to read, write and speak English and perform basic math. Must be able to convert units of weights and measures. Must be able to read, interpret and follow written materials including: Operator Manuals, Safety Procedures, SOPs and SSOPs.
Requires 2 years experience working in a production/manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with computer applications such as Word, Excel, Valiant, Reliant and Tribforce required. Must accurately maintain RFX inventory through proper scanning and follow up when issues arise. Must have, or be able to obtain, an FNG Class B Forklift Operator License. Must be able to train and certify other employees on the use of forklifts. Must have good communication skills both oral and written. Must be able to use the MS Outlook email/calendar app. Must be able to effectively respond to questions from managers, internal customers, contractors, external customers and employees from other areas of the company. Must be able to work on several projects at the same time, prioritizing work for self and others to meet business needs.
Must have the ability to operate maintain and clean all production and support equipment in the Processing Business Unit. Foreman must be able to operate all positions in order to cover for breaks and days off as needed. Must be Team oriented by actively promoting and participating in a team-based environment. This position has leadership responsibilities and expectations with teams you are involved with. Must be able to develop staffing plans and maintain the attendance logbook. Provide training and guidance to team members, operators and maintenance mechanics. Complete HACCP and Safety documents as needed. Facilitate change within the business unit. Support safety and GMP programs. Raise the level of awareness and participation in these programs. Explain priorities to team members and build relationships with team to gain support for goals of the business unit. Practice the "Walk the Talk" principles by holding yourself accountable by following FNG's core values and leadership expectations. Perform any other duties assigned. Join either or both ERT/MRT teams. Regular attendance required. Complete HACCP and Safety documents as needed.
