Bachelor's Degree required. APICS (American Production for Inventory Control Society) Certification preferred.
This individual is required to manage larger projects; the work requires a greater degree of evaluation, creativity and judgment and is performed under moderate supervision. Minimum of 5 (five) years of experience in business with background planning, coordination, logistics and execution of projects required. Prefer experience in a leadership role and the demonstrated ability to balance cost and productivity and balance budgets. Must posses the ability to work with minimal direction while producing high quality results.
Computer skills knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Outlook, data warehouse required. Must be a self-starter with strong organizational skills. Strong analytical and decision making skills. Ability to manage or escalate issues. Basic understanding of Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies.
Provide analysis to support management of the co-packaging administration through optimized materials planning and scheduling of manufacturing and warehousing resources. Work with the Co-Pack Manufacturing Manager to manage new co pack customers and new products from existing customers. This will include overall project management and working with all disciplines associated with the project to facilitate a successful partnership. Develop recommendations to the planning teams to effectively develop midrange and long term plans to meet strategic goals for customer service and plant efficiencies. Effectively manage process and package material change projects with minimal disruption and cost. Work closely with IS on the development of new systems or system enhancements for co-pack and planning activities. Develop, monitor and communicate KPI's and metrics for department and plan performance. Maintain co-packaging rate reports for accuracy and compliance. Support cross functional supply chain opportunities. Ability to successfully communicate a clear and concise manner with internal and external contacts at all levels. Learn the skills required to be the back-up for the Co-Pack Manufacturing Sr. Manager and OST manager. Regular attendance required. Must interact cordially with co-workers.
