Academic:

High School Diploma or GED required. Must be able to read, write and speak English to be able to understand written and verbal instructions and perform basic math.  Must be able to pass the Basic Skills Assessment for this position with a minimum score of 80%. Must be able to convert units of weights and measures. Must be able to read, interpret and follow written instructions including operator manuals, safety information, SOPs and SSOPs. MSSC, CQIA or Lean Bronze certification preferred.

Experience:

Previous forklift experience (6 months) required.  Inventory Bar Coding preferred.

Qualifications:

Must be able to attain a Florida's Natural Growers Class B Forklift Operator License within 6 weeks of starting in the position. Must be able to lift 35 lbs. on a frequent basis and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work in a chilled environment occasionally. Must be able to load and unload trucks, trailers, containers, etc. in a safe and efficient manner to meet productivity needs. Must be able to perform physical labor on a daily basis. Must be able to stack product in a safe and efficient manner.

Job Functions:

Perform daily forklift inspections and complete inspection forms. Operate the lift in a safe and efficient manner.Unload trucks containing packaging materials and dry ingredients. Verify the bills of lading for all deliveries. Print pallet tickets for the individual pallets and use the RFX system to receive the pallets into inventory. Stack materials into the proper racks and on the floor. Keep the warehouses organized and be sure all storage locations have accurate inventory counts. Move materials to production lines and move finished product from the production lines to the warehouse. Operate RFX equipment to scan materials and product in and out of the warehouse in a timely, accurate manner. Convey multiple pallets to and from the production area as necessary. Assist with all clean-ups in the area. Follow all GMP and safety rules. Work as a member of the team. Regular attendance required.

Compensation: $15.50 - $17.22 per hour
