We love to swap citrus-based recipes. Here are some all-time favorites of ours, directly from our groves (and our grandmas).


Orange Turmeric Crush

This nutritional powerhouse smoothie is loaded with turmeric and nutrients that will keep you energized and in good health.

Orange Turmeric Crush

Ingredients

  • 1 cup not-from-concentrate Florida’s Natural Orange Juice
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 4 pitted medjool dates
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 1/2 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon maca powder (optional)
  • pinch of salt
  • chia seeds, hemp seeds, and/or rose hips for topping

Instructions

  1. In a high power blender, combine the orange juice, coconut water, dates, carrot, mango, vanilla, turmeric, maca powder, and a pinch of salt. Add a large handful of ice and blend until completely smooth and creamy, about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Divide between 2 glasses and top as desired. Enjoy!
